Windows XP End-Of-Life announcement
Following Microsoft's recent announcement, it has been confirmed to us that support for Windows XP, along with Office 2003, will end on 8th April 2014, just under 2 years from now.
We would advise all customers still using Windows XP to contact us now to begin planning a migration to Windows 7 and Office 2010.
Please note that in some cases this will require replacing outdated PC hardware. Squirrel Solutions Ltd can supply suitable replacement PCs, and ensure that all data from old systems is securely copied across to your new computers.
We are also able to dispose of obsolete hardware in accordance with WEEE directives.
Two years may seem like a long time, but by planning your migration early you can ensure the transition goes as smoothly as possible.
We urge any customers still using XP and Office 2003 to get in contact as soon as possible.
