No more Windows XP orders
With the end of support for Microsoft Windows XP imminent, Squirrel Solutions Ltd will no longer be accepting orders for PCs with Windows XP Professional.
Although no end-of-life date has yet been announced by Microsoft, it is clear that Windows XP is living on borrowed time.
Windows 7 is continuing to gain market share, and will be supported for many years to come.
Squirrel Solutions recommends that all new PCs are supplied with Windows 7 Ultimate Edition.
We will now only supply Windows XP as part of a reinstall of an existing installation, for example to remove a malware infection or when replacing a failed hard drive.
All customers are advised to start planning a migration strategy away from Windows XP, as it is anticipated that Microsoft will be announcing the End-Of-Life date for the product soon.
