Farewell Acorn
With some regret we are discontinuing sales and support for our ranges of Acorn/RISC OS products, with effect from Monday 11th May.
“We've been supporting the RISC OS platform since late 1995, and this marks the end of an era for us,” says Glenn Richards of Squirrel Solutions. “Since Acorn's demise in 1998 we've been promoting the platform, but unfortunately it's no longer viable to do so.”
We will honour any current support contracts, but will no longer be accepting new orders for Acorn software. Any unshipped orders will of course be fulfilled, and support given for 12 months from date of purchase.
This announcement affects the following software and hardware products:
- NetMail
- Address Book
- ClickLink
- Audiofile
- IRMan / IRBlanker
- Archimedes hi-fi audio upgrades
Free downloads will remain on the site for the immediate future, but no support can be given.
We have a large stock of Acorn hardware and upgrades, some new, some used. After we have made an inventory of this stock we will be clearing it out - no reasonable offer refused!
